A colored self-adhesive (S.A.) photo-etched set of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale aimed at the cockpit interior of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I fighter. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory (a detail set) that adds a pre-painted instrument panel, side panels, a seat and safety belts. The self-adhesive colored parts speed the build up.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I was the first production version of the famous British fighter aircraft, a key machine in the Battle of Britain in 1940. It was powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and became known for its elegant elliptical wing and its excellent handling. The early cockpit has a characteristic arrangement of the instruments, which the set answers to.
The colored parts are pre-painted; with the self-adhesive ones peel the protective film off and press them into place. Separate the other parts with a sharp knife and glue them with super glue. Seat the instrument panel before you close the fuselage up.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
