This resin detail set adds a finely cast control stick and rudder pedals to a model of the American North American T-28 Trojan trainer in 1:48 scale. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but an accessory that replaces the simplified parts from a kit and raises the fidelity of the cockpit. The castings have crisp details that show well in a small scale.
The North American T-28 Trojan was an American piston-engine trainer that from the 1950s served for both basic and advanced pilot training. Thanks to its rugged structure and its radial engine it was popular, and in combat conversions it also proved itself as a light attack machine. The cockpit was a two-seater arranged in tandem.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Small parts such as the control stick are fragile, so handle them with care.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
