This is a set of photo-etched brass parts for adding detail to the exterior of the Panavia Tornado ADV interceptor in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but an exterior accessory to a plastic kit.
The set contains photo-etched exterior parts for a model of the Panavia Tornado ADV in 1:48 scale - typically covers, grilles, panels, stiffeners, static dischargers and other fine external features of an airframe with variable-geometry wings. It raises the fidelity of the surface of this interceptor.
The Panavia Tornado ADV (Air Defence Variant), designated Tornado F.3 in the British RAF, was a twin-engine interceptor with variable-geometry wings. It grew out of the Tornado IDS strike aircraft and was meant for air defense and for engaging targets at long range with radar-guided missiles.
Separate the parts carefully with a sharp knife or photo-etch shears, make the bends along the etched lines (ideally in a bending tool) and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy. Degrease the surface before painting; photo-etched parts hold paint better once a base primer has been sprayed on.
This is a stand-alone set of photo-etched parts (an accessory), not a model of the aircraft. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
