A colored (pre-painted) photo-etched set of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale aimed at the safety seat belts of the crew of the Tornado ECR. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory (a detail set) that replaces the simplified plastic belts with fine metal parts with a faithful drawing of the buckles and the stitching.
The Panavia Tornado ECR was a version of the Tornado multirole combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, adapted for electronic warfare and reconnaissance. The two-member crew saw to the finding and the suppression of hostile radars. A cockpit with a pair of ejection seats offers room for faithful belts.
The colored belts are pre-painted and there is no need to paint over them. Separate the parts carefully with a sharp knife and form them with tweezers or in a photo-etch bending tool. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with glue for photo-etch.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
