Hauler - an American field safe in 1:48 scale is a small diorama accessory that will give a command post, a staff tent or a field pay office in your scene a convincing detail.
Responsibility details are not available.
This miniature of a US Army field safe from the Czech maker Hauler is an unobtrusive but eloquent diorama accessory in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of a vehicle but a piece of equipment of the kind that belonged to the rear areas of units - and it is exactly such objects that turn a diorama into a story.
The safe will naturally find a place at command posts, in staff tents, in base offices or by a field pay office. In 1:48 scale it goes well with ground vehicles and with airfield scenes alike - just stand it by a table with maps, add a figure and the scene immediately makes sense. It also looks interesting half open or partly covered with a tarpaulin.
Separate the small parts carefully from their carriers, clean them up and glue them with super glue. Painting can be managed with a brush: a base in olive or steel gray, the edges and the edges of the door picked out with a lighter dry brush, then a dark wash in the joints. Small scuffs with a brush in a metal shade will give the safe the patina of a piece used for years.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; figures and other scene equipment are not included in the package.
