The CMK 1:48 VW Type 82 Holz Gas resin conversion set rebuilds a Kubelwagen model into the variant with a wood-gas generator.

This is NOT a stand-alone model but a conversion set from CMK in 1:48 scale. Its resin parts make it possible to build the less usual variant with wood-gas propulsion (Holzgas), used at a time of fuel shortage, from the basic kit of the German cross-country car VW Type 82 Kubelwagen.
Wood-gas generators turned wood into a combustible gas and during the Second World War replaced scarce gasoline on a number of civilian and military vehicles. What stands out is the bulky generator carried on the vehicle, which gives it an unmistakable look.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut them from the casting blocks (use respiratory protection) and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Following the instructions, the corresponding parts of the base kit have to be modified.
The set is a conversion accessory and calls for a basic kit of the vehicle. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
