This is not an airplane model but a resin set of accessories. The package holds six pieces of Vickers aircraft machine guns, put together as a survey of the different forms of this weapon. The parts replace the simplified armament of plastic kits and give it a faithful look.
The Vickers was a British water-cooled machine gun which in its synchronized aircraft version became the standard fixed armament of First World War fighters. During the war and after it a number of variants appeared, differing in the cooling jacket, the controls and the ammunition feed, and this collection reflects that.
The parts are cast in resin and are intended for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting gates off carefully and bond the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. We recommend toning and weathering the metal shades.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
