Turned brass replacement barrels for the British 356 mm (14 inch) Mark VII in 1:700 scale from MASTER. It is not a kit but an accurate metal accessory replacing the plastic barrels of the main battery.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely turned brass barrels of 356 mm (14 inch) caliber, the Mark VII type, in 1:700 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER. It is not a ship model but a metal detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels from the box. The package contains 10 pieces, which matches the main battery of the British battleships of the King George V class. The metal barrels have a faithful profile at the muzzle and the taper and are perfectly straight, which plastic castings usually do not manage.
The guns of 356 mm caliber, Mark VII, were the main armament of the British battleships of the King George V class from the Second World War. They were fitted in quadruple and twin turrets, ten barrels per ship altogether. This relatively unusual caliber came about within the interwar treaty limits on armament.
Cut off the original plastic barrels and clean them up, then seat the turned parts in the turrets. They are glued with cyanoacrylate or epoxy. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer for metal.
This is a replacement part, not a ship model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
