MASTER German 10.5 cm SKC/33 – early version, turned barrels (1:700) is a set of sixteen accurate turned brass barrels for the German heavy anti-aircraft gun of 10.5 cm caliber. A replacement detail for a build, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains sixteen turned brass barrels for the German 10.5 cm SKC/33 heavy anti-aircraft gun in the early version, in 1:700 scale. The metal barrels from MASTER replace the plastic parts and give the twin mountings a sharp outline. It is not a ship model but a detail accessory.
The 10.5 cm SKC/33 gun was the standard German heavy anti-aircraft (AA) gun of the Second World War, carried in twin stabilized mountings by a number of Kriegsmarine ships, from battleships to cruisers. The early version differs from the later one in the typical build of the barrel and the mounting.
Cut off the plastic barrels, clean up the mountings and glue the turned parts in with cyanoacrylate. Sixteen pieces cover several twin mountings. Treat the metal with a primer before painting.
The set contains only the turned barrels. The ship model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
