Aber 1:16 transport boxes with 7.5 cm ammunition for the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H–J is a metal detail set of two transport boxes with six different rounds of 7.5 cm caliber.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains two transport boxes and six different rounds of 7.5 cm caliber for the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank in the Ausf. H to J versions in 1:16 scale. It is a detail accessory for building dioramas and for equipping a model faithfully, not a model of the tank. The metal and turned construction offers accurate shapes of the cartridge cases and of the boxes. It is made by the Polish company Aber.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV was the most widely used German medium tank of the Second World War. The late H and J versions carried the long 7.5 cm KwK 40 gun, and the ammunition was carried and stored in the field in wooden and metal boxes. The various types of rounds (armor-piercing, high-explosive and others) differed in the head and can be used to bring a diorama to life.
Degrease the turned rounds and the photo-etched parts of the boxes before gluing. Assemble the boxes with a photo-etch bending tool and cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the rounds appropriately for their type and add a fine wash to bring the details out. The resulting arrangement works as a striking element of a diorama beside the tank.
This is a supplementary metal set, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
