A set of universal tapered masts No2 in 1:700 scale. It contains turned metal masts 60 mm long with a gradually narrowing diameter in four heavier variants. It serves as an accurate replacement for plastic or wire masts and yards on ship models.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains universal turned tapered masts 60 mm long, on which the diameter narrows smoothly from the foot to the tip. Four variants are available, with dimensions of 0.4 and 1.4 mm, 0.5 and 1.6 mm, 0.6 and 1.8 mm, and 0.7 and 2 mm. This is a heavier build than the No1 set, suited to the sturdier main masts of larger ships.
The universal build allows use on a wide range of models. You shorten the mast to the length you need and set it on the deck, which gives you a strong and faithfully tapered profile that replaces oversized plastic parts or straight wire.
The metal build holds its shape, resists bending and suits rigging too, where the strength of the anchor points for the lines matters.
