A decal sheet for a model of the Soviet T-26 light tank in 1:72 scale, the second part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-26 was a Soviet light tank of the 1930s and one of the most numerous tanks of its day. It was built in a whole range of standards, from machines with a pair of turrets to the later single-turret versions with a gun, and it saw action in many conflicts before the Second World War and at its beginning.
A sheet of decals for models of the T-26 in 1:72 scale. The Part II designation sets this sheet apart from the first part of the same series, so the two sheets offer different subjects. The particular overview of the markings and their layout is given in the instructions that come with the sheet.
Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is an adhesive type; an adhesive film that has been soaked is ruined, whereas a waterslide decal that has not been soaked can be soaked later. With an ordinary waterslide decal, proceed as follows: cut the motif out together with its backing as close to the artwork as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until the film begins to slide on the backing. The base must be smooth and glossy, otherwise the decal will silver. Slide the motif into place, press the water out with a soft brush and blot the rest. A decal softener will help the decal to bed down into pressings and gaps. Once it has dried, overspray with matte varnish so that the gloss base disappears.
For modelers building Soviet armored vehicles in 1:72 scale who want to finish a model other than with the decals from the kit.
The model, paints and varnish are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
