Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British night fighter Armstrong Whitworth Meteor NF Mk.14 in 1:72 scale from the maker Special Hobby. It is a kit from short-run production; besides the plastic parts the package may hold accessory parts and a decal sheet as well, and the exact contents depend on the particular release.
The Gloster Meteor was the first British production jet fighter. The night version NF Mk.14, built by the firm Armstrong Whitworth, was a two-seater, carried radar in a lengthened nose and had a new all-clear cockpit canopy. It was the last night fighter variant of the Meteor and served with the RAF in the 1950s, until more modern types took its place.
With short-run production it pays to try the parts dry first and to sand the joints carefully. Paint the interior before closing the fuselage, glue the glazing with cyanoacrylate glue and mask it beforehand. For British postwar camouflage use an airbrush and a base coat; fine-tune the transitions between shades and the markings on a smooth surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
