Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a ship in 1:700 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. It captures the battleship Nagato of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the configuration corresponding to the Battle of Leyte Gulf in 1944. The model is intended to be assembled and painted.
The Nagato was the lead ship of the class of the same name and one of the principal Japanese battleships. In the late phase of the war she carried extended anti-aircraft armament. The Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944 was one of the largest engagements in the history of naval warfare in the Pacific, and the Nagato took part in it.
Build the hull as a full hull or as a waterline version, according to the form of the kit. The superstructures and the fine elements of the anti-aircraft armament are worth supplementing with photo-etched parts, which are sold separately. Paint with an airbrush and create the weathering with thin washes running into the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
