Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks intended to bring out the moving control surfaces of a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M1 and A6M2a Reisen carrier fighter, known as the Zero, in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit. These masks do not serve to mask the canopy but to spray the edges and outlines of the rudders, elevators and ailerons precisely, which brings the model to life visually and gives it a fine distinction of the fabric-covered surfaces.
The masks follow the shape and the division of the control surfaces of the particular subject exactly, so there is no laborious and inaccurate measuring by hand. The result is a clean, symmetrical accent that would be very hard to reach freehand.
The surface of the model has to be smooth and degreased. Press the masks down exactly along the engraving, spray thin coats of a slightly different shade and lift the masks off before the finish fully cures.
