This is a photo-etched set for detailing the British BAe Hawk 100 series trainer and light combat aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It is not a model or a kit — it is an accessory made of thin metal sheet that replaces and refines the plastic items of the base kit. Photo-etched sets in this scale usually bring cockpit detail, instrument panels, belts and small exterior items. The set is designed for a particular plastic Hawk 100 kit in 1:72 scale; check the compatible kit and the exact contents against the manufacturer's data.
The parts are separated from the fret with a sharp knife, bent on an edge or in a modeling bending tool and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease bare photo-etch before painting and apply a primer; in a small scale, work with tweezers and in good light.
