Eduard 1:72 Beaufighter Mk.X landing flaps is a photo-etched set of landing flaps for a plastic model of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk.X. It is not a kit but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds stainless steel photo-etch of the lowered landing flaps for a model of the Beaufighter Mk.X in 1:72 scale. It lets you replace the coarser plastic flaps with fine photo-etched parts and show the wing with the flaps down as it is on landing. The set is an accessory to a model, not a kit in its own right.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy fighter and torpedo bomber of the Second World War. The TF Mk.X version made its mark above all in attacks on shipping and as a night fighter. It stood out for heavy armament and a rugged structure.
The photo-etched flaps are built up from several layers, separated with a sharp knife and bonded with super glue. Lowered flaps show the internal structure of the wing, so it pays to degrease them thoroughly and paint them separately before the final finish. The set shows at its best on a model standing on the ground.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
