The Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 In Yugoslavian service 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the famous German fighter aircraft in the equipment of the prewar Yugoslav Air Force from the Czech manufacturer AZ model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the early version of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 fighter with a focus on the machines delivered to Yugoslavia before the war. The package contains plastic sprue frames and waterslide decals for three marking variants. It is a kit from the Czech manufacturer AZ model.
The Bf 109E-3 belonged to the early Emil generation with a Daimler-Benz V12 engine and wing armament. Yugoslavia bought some of these machines before the outbreak of the war and in April 1941 some of them stood up in defense of their own country during the German attack. Serviceability was limited by a shortage of spare parts.
It is worth cleaning the parts up and checking the fit of the fuselage and the wings dry. Use a thin cement for plastic for the joints and apply a thin primer before painting. The cockpit and the front section with the engine are the areas on view, so it pays to give their painting attention. Lay the shades down with an airbrush in thin coats and place the decals onto a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
