British First World War artillery with an 18-pounder gun in 1:72 scale is a plastic set from the manufacturer Emhar with crew figures and period guns.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic set in 1:72 scale holds figures of a British gun crew and period field guns, the 18-pounders. The figures are captured in various poses while serving the gun and carrying ammunition. Everything is glued and painted, and together it makes up a scene of a First World War artillery battery.
The 18-pounder field gun was the main British field gun of the First World War. It was a quick-firing weapon of 84 mm caliber, fielded in large numbers on the Western Front and elsewhere. The set recalls both this weapon and the soldiers who served it.
Separate the parts from the sprues and clean up the parting lines. Prime both the guns and the figures first, then paint the uniforms, the metal parts of the guns and the wooden elements separately. A wash will bring out the rivets and the detail; a dry brush will lift the edges and the wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
