Armory 1:72 Canadian F-35 Lightning II wheels is a resin set of landing gear wheels for models of the F-35 in Canadian configuration in 1:72 scale. An accessory to a kit, not a model of the aircraft.

The set is intended for models of the F-35 fighter in Canadian configuration in 1:72 scale and replaces the out-of-the-box plastic wheels. In its range the manufacturer lists it separately alongside the sets for the A, B and C versions, which makes the choice easier for a modeler: if you are building a machine in the Canadian form, you reach straight for the matching item and do not have to work out how it differs from the standard version.
The F-35 Lightning II is a single-seat fifth-generation fighter which in recent years has been replacing older types in a number of allied air forces. Canada is among the countries that have acquired this type, and its machines are the subject of separate modeling accessories.
The procedure is the same as with the other resin wheels: wash in lukewarm soapy water, cut off the casting block, level the contact surface wet and let it dry. Primer follows, as paint does not hold on resin without it. The landing gear of a modern aircraft is light and clean, so it pays to pay attention even to small scratches left by sanding. The tire tends to be dark gray with a matte surface; mask the hub with a circular mask. Apply weathering sparingly, as on current machines it is unobtrusive.
The set is supplied unpainted, as resin castings intended for further work. Paints, glue and the model of the aircraft are not included in the package.
