An injection-molded plastic kit of the Canadian Chevrolet C15A truck in the configuration with the earlier No. 11 cab and a body for carrying men, in 1:72 scale from IBG. The set holds plastic and clear parts and a decal sheet. The body of this configuration was a combination of wood and steel.
The Chevrolet C15A belonged to the family of Canadian standardized pattern (CMP) military vehicles, produced in Canada from 1940. These light trucks with their characteristic cab over the engine served to carry men and materiel and were fielded by British, Canadian and other Allied units. The configuration with the No. 11 cab represents the older form of the cab.
Assemble the chassis, the axles and the engine compartment first, then close the cab and the body. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and apply a primer before painting. You will bring a single-color finish to life by picking out the panels and with washes and fine dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
