The sixth part of the OWL decal series devoted to the Dornier Do 215 B type in 1:72 scale. The series covers the type progressively part by part, so the individual sheets follow on from one another and can be combined.
The Do 215 B is a development offshoot of the Do 17 Z type with inline engines. The machines served on reconnaissance and bombing tasks, and some of them were rebuilt for night service. Thanks to its slender fuselage and extensive glazing a model has a striking silhouette and markings come into their own on it, especially if the surface is well prepared.
Decals belong only on a finished finish, unified with a gloss clear coat. Cut the elements out close to the printing, settle them on a damp area and move them gently with a brush. Apply the softener only once the position has been trued up, otherwise the decal will stick on crooked and you will no longer move it. At the end fix the area with matte varnish and only then work with washes and pigments.
This is not a kit but a decal sheet. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
