It supplies the fine elements that injection-molded plastic cannot capture in a matching thickness. The set is not an aircraft model in itself; it is an accessory.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War. The F series, nicknamed Friedrich, brought an aerodynamically refined airframe and many regard it as the cleanest variant of the type; the G series that followed, the Gustav, became the most numerously produced version. The aircraft served on every front of the European theater.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife on a firm surface and bonded as a rule with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Make the bends along the score line, ideally in a bending tool. Degrease the parts before painting. The set raises the realism particularly around the cockpit and the fine surface elements.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
