Eduard 1:72 F/A-18F TFace is a set of die-cut masking templates for the canopy of a Super Hornet model — in the TFace version, that is for masking from the outside and from the inside.

A set of self-adhesive masking templates from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the two-seat carrier-based F/A-18F Super Hornet in 1:72 scale. The templates are cut from masking material so as to follow the shape of the canopy frames exactly, and they are usually supplemented by masks for the wheels. The designation TFace means that the set holds parts for both sides of the glazing — the outer and the inner. You can therefore spray the cockpit frames in a camouflage shade from the outside and in the interior color from the inside.
The F/A-18F Super Hornet is the two-seat version of the carrier-based multirole combat aircraft of the US Navy. It has a larger airframe, rectangular air intakes and more powerful engines than the earlier Hornet. It is precisely the long two-seat canopy with its many frames that is one of the most demanding places when building the model — masking it by hand with tape takes more time here than all the rest of the painting.
Wash and degrease the glazing first so that the mask will hold. Separate the individual parts with the tip of a scalpel and move them with tweezers, lay them on dry and press them down with a wooden toothpick so that they are drawn properly into the corners of the frames. Spray the inner side with the cockpit color first, then once it has dried fit the outer masks and carry on with the primer and the camouflage. Spray in thin coats so that no paint gets under the edge of the mask. Remove the mask as soon as possible after it has dried, while the paint film is still flexible.
It is an accessory, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
