It is not an airplane kit but a resin cockpit accessory that replaces the small parts from the plastic kit with a more faithful shape and sharper detail. It is made by Quickboost, a brand of the Aires company.
The Lockheed Martin F/A-22 Raptor is an American single-seat supersonic fifth-generation fighter with low-observable features. Its cockpit has a side stick and a lever controlling engine thrust, both of which are prominent and clearly visible items for a modeler. A faithful rendering of these controls raises the realism of the cockpit.
Wash the resin castings in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces, then bond the small parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Picking out the grips in a different color and adding a fine wash works best before the cockpit is closed up. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
