This is a set of turned metal detail parts from the Polish manufacturer MASTER — barrels for the wing-mounted Hispano 20 mm cannons in short fairings for a model of the British carrier-based Fairey Firefly, 1:72 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but a more accurate replacement for the plastic parts.
The Fairey Firefly was a British two-seat carrier-based fighter and reconnaissance aircraft of the Fleet Air Arm from the Second World War and the postwar era. Its armament included wing-mounted Hispano 20 mm cannons, in this version in short fairings.
Cut off the original plastic barrels and clean up the leading edges. Seat the metal barrels and fix them with cyanoacrylate. Leave the hollow muzzle open for a realistic effect. Apply a primer before painting and leave the fitting to the end.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
