An accessory set for a model of the Fw 190D-9 in 1:72 scale, tied to the taller vertical tail taken from the Ta 152.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Fw 190D-9 is a late version of the German Fw 190 fighter from the end of the Second World War. You recognize it by the lengthened nose and the longer fuselage, because the radial engine of the earlier versions was replaced by the liquid-cooled inverted V12 Jumo 213. The radiator is annular and sits at the front, so from a distance the nose looks rounded despite the liquid-cooled engine. The Ta 152 was the next development stage of the same design line and had, among other things, a taller vertical tail. Some of the late Fw 190D-9 aircraft received it as well.
The set is tied to exactly this point: the taller fin from the Ta 152 on the fuselage of the Fw 190D-9. On a finished model it is a change visible from every angle, because a taller tail surface shifts the whole impression of the silhouette of the aircraft. The range of parts and the kit the set is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions, so compare the set with your own kit before you buy.
The aircraft kit, paints, filler and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
