DK Decals Hurricane Mk.I / Sea Hurricane Mk.I, Part 4 (1:72) is a set of decals with a rich choice of markings for British Hawker Hurricane fighters. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of waterslide decals, not an airplane model. The sheets offer several marking options for both the land-based and the carrier version of the legendary British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter and its naval form, the Sea Hurricane Mk.I, in 1:72 scale. The set is the fourth part of a series devoted to this type.
Together with the Spitfire, the Hawker Hurricane was the mainstay of British fighter aviation during the Battle of Britain. Its robust structure with a mixed covering made it a reliable weapon of the RAF; the naval Sea Hurricane served from the decks of aircraft carriers and from the catapult masts of merchant ships.
Once cut out, the decals are soaked in lukewarm water and slid onto a gloss surface of the model prepared with varnish. It is best to coat the base under the decals with gloss varnish and, once dry, to go over it with matte varnish so that the edges blend in. Decal softeners help them adhere perfectly to the detail.
This is a standalone set of decals. The airplane model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
