The La-7 in Czechoslovak Air Force colors (1:72, Easy Model) is a finished, assembled and painted model of the fighter. It comes complete; there is nothing to glue and nothing to paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector's model that comes assembled and painted from the factory, markings included. It is not a kit: you need no glue, no paints and no decals and can put the model straight into a display case. The 1:72 scale matches the usual kits, so the piece fits into a collection that is already under way.
The Lavochkin La-7 was a Soviet single-seat fighter of the closing stage of the Second World War, developed from the earlier La-5 family. It was powered by an air-cooled radial engine and its structure made extensive use of wood combined with metal elements. The type was notable for its good agility and performance at low and medium altitude, where most of the fighting over the battlefield took place. After the war the La-7 also appeared in service with other air forces.
The version with Czechoslovak markings is a rewarding subject: it links a well-known type with the history of the Czechoslovak Air Force and goes well in a display case with other machines that served there. If you build a collection by operator rather than by type, this is exactly the piece that makes sense on such a shelf. The finished execution also means that the color scheme and the national insignia keep a consistent quality.
Hold the model by the fuselage, not by the propeller, the landing gear or the tailplane. Remove dust with a soft brush, dry, with no water and no chemicals. Put the display case out of direct sunlight, ideally in a stable environment with no large swings of temperature.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. It is not a kit: it does not need gluing or painting.
