This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale captures the modern C-130J version of the famous Hercules transport aircraft, made by Italeri. The model represents the characteristic modernized variant with new equipment and suits builders of large multi-engine aircraft.
The C-130 Hercules is one of the most successful military transport aircraft in history and serves all over the world. The C-130J version went through an extensive modernization: it received new turboprop engines with six-blade composite propellers, digital avionics and a glass cockpit. As a result it has higher performance and a longer range than the older versions and carries out tasks from tactical transport to humanitarian flights.
On a large model, take care to glue the fuselage firmly and to seat the wings and the engine nacelles accurately. Use thin cement for plastic on the plastic parts. Apply a gloss varnish over the paint before the decals go on, and they will adhere better. Large surfaces are easier to spray with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
