The real subject

The M2 Bradley is an American tracked infantry fighting vehicle designed to carry an infantry squad and to give it fire support. The turret carries a 25 mm automatic cannon and a launcher for anti-tank guided missiles, backed up by a coaxial machine gun. The M2A2 version brought heavier armor protection against fragments and shaped-charge rounds. The vehicle is mobile, amphibious once prepared, and it became the backbone of American mechanized infantry.

Building and painting tips

On armored vehicles, finish the running gear and any interior the kit provides first and close up the hull only afterwards, because you will not reach them later. Spray the base coat over a primer and apply the paints with an airbrush. Build the weathering with washes into the recesses and with pigments for dust and mud effects on the tracks and the lower hull; drybrushing will bring out the edges and the worn metal.
