The set holds ten scale models of the OZM-72 type in 1:35 scale. In shape it is a compact cylindrical object, which behaves discreetly in a diorama and is used differently from bulky accessories - it works best in groups, in an open crate or dropped among the rest of the materiel, where it builds the impression of a lived-in, used scene.

What small details mean in a diorama

Experienced scene builders agree that the impression of credibility does not come from the main model but from what surrounds it. Ten identical objects let you work with repetition: leave some of them lined up, some scattered, and let one piece lie off to the side. It is precisely irregularity that the eye reads as reality.

How to paint them

After separating them from the carrier and cleaning them up, lay on a thinned base. On cylindrical shapes it helps to shade along the axis: darken the lower part, brighten the upper edge gently, and keep the transition smooth. Avoid a pronounced dry brush, which leaves unpleasant streaks on a smooth cylinder. Concentrate the earth effect at the bottom edge and at the seating surface, where dirt would settle most. With ten identical pieces it pays to vary the depth of the shade slightly, so that the group does not look like a production molding.
