A model of the Marmon-Herrington Mk.II armored car in 1:72 scale. The name ends in placeholder question marks instead of a closer designation, so the exact variant is not stated here.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Marmon-Herrington was an armored car built during the Second World War in the Union of South Africa on a truck chassis with all-wheel drive. British and Allied units used it mainly in North Africa and the Middle East, where its endurance off road and easy maintenance were valued. The Mk.II was the most numerous version; the armament differed from vehicle to vehicle according to the unit and to what was at hand, so examples with an anti-tank rifle, with machine guns and with captured weapons were all met in the field.
This is a model of that vehicle in 1:72 scale. The supplier's name, however, ends in two question marks after the Mk.II designation, in the place where the closer determination of the variant should stand, so the exact variant is not stated here. If you are building a particular vehicle, the variant is given on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of vehicles in a small scale and for dioramas of the fighting in North Africa, where more vehicles fit into a small area than in large scales. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
