The product is not a kit and these are not decals but stencils for spraying camouflage. The set is worked up for one particular aircraft marked with the blue number 65. The manufacturer offers similar sets for further machines of the same line, which differ in their number and in the layout of the patches - when choosing, therefore, always go by the designation in the name, not only by the type of aircraft.

The real subject

The Su-25UB is the two-seat version of the subsonic ground-attack aircraft intended to operate over the battlefield from low altitude. The design puts the emphasis on the toughness of the airframe, simple maintenance and operation from less well equipped airfields. Two-seat machines can be told from single-seaters by the longer nose and the second, higher-set seat under a lengthened canopy.

The order of work and keeping track of the parts

• Before you start, lay the parts of the mask out and compare them with the backing sheet - a part once lifted off is harder to return to the right place.
• Photograph the model after each coat; with a multicolor pattern it is easy to lose track of what is already done.
• Work in sections, for example the wing first and then the fuselage - masks stuck all over the model at once make it harder to handle.
• Apply the paint perpendicular and in thin coats so that the edge does not create a step.
• Remove the masks while the paint has only just dried, and roll them off low over the surface rather than straight upward.

Who the set is for

For the modeler building one particular Ukrainian Su-25UB who wants the shape of the patches to be faithful and does not want to trace the pattern from photographs. Ordinary experience with an airbrush and with multi-coat spraying is assumed.

This is an accessory for a kit. The model, paints, decals and varnish are not included in the package.
