The subject of the set

During the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) the German Condor Legion used early Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters of the first production versions. The machines carried specific Spanish and legion markings, which differed markedly from the later wartime Luftwaffe scheme. It is an attractive and colorful subject for modelers.

Application tips

These are wet slide decals. Apply them over a smooth gloss coat, which prevents silvering under the film. Cut the individual motif out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and then slide it off the backing paper onto the model. Fine-tune the position, blot the excess water away and help it settle with a decal softener. Once dry, even the surface out with a coat of clear.
