An injection-molded plastic kit of the MiG-23MF fighter in 1:72 scale from Kovozavody Prostejov. This release focuses on the export machines operated by Middle Eastern air forces and brings the matching decals for them.
The MiG-23 is a Soviet fighter with a variable-geometry wing, thanks to which it combined good takeoff behavior with high speed. The MF version was the export fighter variant delivered to a number of friendly countries. In the armament of Middle Eastern air forces, machines of this family took part in several conflicts. They were powered by a single turbojet with an afterburner.
Take care over the correct setting and fit of the movable wing. Bond the parts with a liquid cement for plastic, smooth the seams and apply a primer before painting. Desert and sand camouflage comes into its own after airbrushing; a gloss varnish under the decals lets them settle smoothly and a matte varnish afterward evens the surface out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
