Injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Mil Mi-8T Hip-C multi-purpose helicopter in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The box contains sprues in gray plastic, clear parts and a multi-color decal sheet. It is a larger helicopter model with a manageable build.
The Mil Mi-8 is a Soviet medium multi-purpose helicopter with a pair of turboshaft engines and one of the most widely used helicopters in the world. The Mi-8T version is the military transport modification, which carries a group of fully armed troops and cargo and can also carry armament on side pylons. Mi-8 machines have served and still serve in dozens of countries for transport, airborne operations, casualty evacuation and combat support.
Work with thin cement for plastic and build in subassemblies. Finish the glazed nose and the cockpit before you close up the fuselage; with a large cabin it pays to plan the painting from the inside. Apply a primer before painting and put the paint on with an airbrush. Leave the five-blade main rotor and the tail rotor for the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
