A resin kit of the British sports and touring aircraft the Miles M.2F Hawk Major in 1:72 scale, in the treatment of an entrant in the famous MacRobertson race. It is a whole model of the aircraft in resin intended for experienced modelers, not an injection-molded plastic kit.
The Miles Hawk Major was a British single-engined low-wing monoplane of the 1930s, popular as a fast touring and sports aircraft. Machines of this type also took part in long-distance races, among them the legendary 1934 race from England to Australia, after whose sponsor the MacRobertson designation comes. Elegant clean lines and fixed landing gear are characteristic of the type.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them over with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a primer for even coverage and careful test-fitting before gluing. Assemble the fine parts and the clear parts at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
