Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the French manufacturer Heller captures the Morane-Saulnier MS.406 fighter in 1:72 scale. The C1 designation matches the French category of the day for a single-seat fighter. The model has the classic breakdown into fuselage, wings and tail surfaces and is among the well-established and popular renderings of this subject.
The Morane-Saulnier MS.406 was the most numerous French fighter at the start of the Second World War. It was powered by a liquid-cooled Hispano-Suiza 12Y V12 engine. When war broke out it equipped most French fighter units, and over a thousand were built in all.
Assemble and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage, and sand the joins. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic. The base is primer, and the French camouflage of the day comes out well sprayed with an airbrush. Apply gloss varnish before the decals, and matte varnish will unify the surface at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
