Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in kabuki tape from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale, intended for the model of the American fighter Curtiss P-40N Warhawk. The self-adhesive masks are machine-cut precisely to the frames of the canopy and to the wheel hubs. Thanks to them, spraying gives crisp and clean color transitions with no need to cut tape by hand. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory for painting; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The Curtiss P-40N Warhawk was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War, one of the later and lightened versions of the well-known P-40 line. It was put into action on a number of fronts with the American and with Allied air forces. The glazed canopy and the wheel hubs are the typical places that have to be masked during painting.
Degrease the glazing before the masks go on. Move the masks over with tweezers and press them carefully against the frames, so that no paint creeps under them. Lay the paint on in thin coats and take the masks off while the clear coat is still fresh, so that it does not peel.
This is an accessory for masking during painting, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
