The Piper J-3/NE-1 mask set 1:72

A set of self-adhesive masks shaped exactly for a model of the light Piper J-3 Cub aircraft, or rather its naval NE-1 version, in 1:72 scale. It is not a model or a kit but an accessory that makes masking the canopy glazing and the sharp edges of a color scheme much easier when spraying. The masks are die-cut and ready to be stuck on.

Use

  • Stick the masks onto the glazing and the surfaces that are to stay free of paint
  • Press the edges down for a clean edge with no paint creeping underneath
  • Spray the model and carefully peel the masks off once dry
  • They save time compared with laying out tape by hand and give sharp transitions
