Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a model but a set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Czech publisher ROP o.s. It adds national insignia, tactical numbers and personal markings from wartime service to a kit of the Soviet Polikarpov Po-2 biplane, formerly designated the U-2. The decals extend the marking options beyond the basic kit.
The Polikarpov Po-2 (originally the U-2) was a Soviet biplane of wood and fabric construction, originally a trainer. During the war it proved itself in many roles, among others as a night harassment bomber: it flew slowly and low to the target, shut down the engine and dropped its bombs quietly. The celebrated women's night bomber regiments also flew these machines.
Coat the area under the decals with gloss varnish so that the edges do not turn white, and this applies to fabric surfaces too. Dip the motif in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it onto the model. A softener will help the decal settle, and a final coat of varnish unifies the surface.
This is a decal set, not a model. To use it you need a separate kit of the Po-2 or U-2 in 1:72 scale. Paints, glue and varnish are not included in the package.
