Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run plastic kit of the experimental Soviet aircraft S-22I, also known as the Su-7IG, in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian company ModelSvit. The package holds injection-molded plastic sprues, a clear part and decals; check the exact contents against the enclosed instructions.
The S-22I was an experimental aircraft derived from the Su-7 fighter-bomber. It served to prove out a variable-geometry wing with pivoting outer panels, the technology that later led to the production Su-17 aircraft and their export variants. The inner part of the wing stayed fixed and only its outer section pivoted. The test program ran in the second half of the 1960s.
Short-run molds call for cleaning the parts up and for careful dry fitting. Use a thin cement for plastic and finish the small details by sanding. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush suits the metal and natural metal surfaces. Lay the decals over a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
