An injection-molded plastic kit of a railroad car in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels). The subject is the railroad platform designated SAM-AT, which was marshaled into armored train formations.
Flatcars were an integral part of armored train formations. They carried artillery, anti-aircraft armament or armored vehicles and protected the formation and the stretch of line. The particular version differed according to purpose and period.
Use liquid cement for plastic and cut the tiny parts of the chassis and the axles away carefully. Rust and dust shades, washes in the gaps and fine pigments on the running gear suit the patina. We recommend a primer and airbrush painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
