Photo-Etched Seat Belts for American Fighters 1:72 (AML)

A photo-etched set of seat belts for the pilot seat of American fighter aircraft of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. This is not a model - it is a fine cockpit accessory that replaces flat plastic or entirely missing belts with a faithful metal version with stitching and hardware.

Use

  • Separate the parts with a sharp knife and shape them into a natural sag.
  • Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and set them on the seat.
  • Paint the metal belts after the period original and pick out the hardware.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers of fighters in 1:72 who want to bring the cockpit to life.
  • Builders used to small photo-etched parts.

A standalone accessory, not a model. Paints and glue are not included in the package.

FAQ

No, it is a photo-etched set of seat belts for the cockpit of a model you have already built; the model itself is not included.

Super glue (cyanoacrylate) works best; the thin metal can also be soldered.

Expect thin photo-etched belts that are painted after the period original before they are fitted.
