An injection-molded plastic kit of the SIAI-Marchetti SF-260W armed trainer in 1:72 scale from Kovozavody Prostejov. The edition concentrates on machines in Italian service. The set contains parts in gray plastic, a clear canopy and a decal sheet with Italian schemes.
The SF-260 is an all-metal low-wing piston aircraft famous for its pleasant handling and aerobatic ability. The armed Warrior version carried underwing pylons and was used for training and for light combat, liaison and reconnaissance duties; the aircraft is closely bound up with its home country, Italy. The Italian Air Force used these machines for basic and advanced pilot training over a long period.
Separate the small parts carefully and sand the joints. Paint the cockpit interior before closing it up. For clean transitions between colors and markings use an airbrush and masking; put a gloss varnish down before the decals and unify the finished model with a flat coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
