A resin kit of the Czechoslovak VZV 1521/1522 Desta utility vehicle in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Brassica. It is a short-run model for more experienced modelers, cast from resin. It is built as an unassembled kit and the subject is among the less usual themes of army and industrial logistics.
Vehicles of the Desta 1521/1522 type were Czechoslovak wheeled handling and towing equipment used for moving and handling loads. They were employed in civilian use and with the army, where they served to secure supply and to handle materiel. Thanks to their robust construction and low, compact silhouette they are a characteristic representative of the domestic utility equipment of the period.
First wash the remains of the release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean them up (sanding with respiratory protection). Glue with cyanoacrylate (super) glue. After painting the base we recommend an airbrush, washes into the detail and pigments for dust and mud, for a faithful working look of the vehicle.
