Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern European multirole combat aircraft in 1:72 scale from the German maker Revell. It is a special collector's edition, which adds photo-etched parts, an extensive decal sheet and an accompanying publication about the origin and service of the type to the plastic parts. It is aimed at one particular machine of the Luftwaffe in a striking special finish, so the result is an effective display piece even for someone who does not otherwise collect modern machinery.
The Eurofighter is a twin-engine multirole combat aircraft with a delta wing and canard foreplanes, developed in international cooperation and powered by a pair of EJ200 turbofans. It serves with several European air forces in both the fighter and the strike role and is known for its high agility and its digital flight control system. The designation Rapid Pacific refers to the deployment of German machines to the Indo-Pacific region, for which one aircraft was given a conspicuous dark finish with colored accents.
Paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before you close the fuselage. The special scheme stands out only on a smooth surface, so a good filling primer and application with an airbrush in thin coats pay off. Spray a gloss varnish under the decals and once it is dry, even out the surface to taste with a matte or semi-gloss varnish. Bend the photo-etched parts over a sharp edge and attach them with super glue; on plastic use a thin cement applied by capillary action.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
