First World War Indian infantry in 1:72 scale is a set of unassembled plastic figures of the British Indian Army for dioramas and tabletop games.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale captures soldiers of the Indian infantry in British service of the First World War period. The box holds unpainted injection-molded parts for the figures in several combat poses. The figures will bring dioramas of Middle Eastern as well as European battlefields to life and will serve as units in tabletop war games.
The British Indian Army put hundreds of thousands of soldiers into the fronts in Europe, Mesopotamia and Africa. The units were marked out by their characteristic headgear and period equipment. The set captures this infantry factually, in typical uniforms and in postures of firing and movement.
Separate the figures from the sprue gates and clean up the parting lines. On the thin plastic use a thin model cement. We recommend a base coat, then the basic tones of the uniforms and darkening into the shadows; a dry brush will bring out the folds of the cloth and the gear. Apply the skin tones and the turbans with a feeling for period accuracy.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
