1:48 Mitsubishi A6M2b Reisen is a Dead Design masking set for models of the Japanese A6M2b carrier-based fighter in 1:48 scale. Against the version for the inner and the outer face it is the basic version of the set.

An accessory to a model, not a kit. The masks are cut to the shape of the parts of a particular type in 1:48 scale and serve for spraying crisply bounded areas, typically the glazing frames. The extent of the package is stated on the box of the set.
Dead Design makes two grades for this type: this one and the version designated for masking the inner and the outer face, which is the more extensive of the two. If you are building the cockpit closed and the interior of the frames will not be in view, this one will do. If you plan an open cockpit or have a well rendered interior, it makes sense to reach for the more extensive version.
Glazing frames are the hardest part of a model to paint by hand. Paint behaves differently on smooth clear plastic than on primer, a brush leaves strokes and the line never comes out straight. Frame decals do exist, but the film will not seat over curved glazing without wrinkles and a different sheen remains visible beneath it. A sprayed frame is of the same paint as the fuselage, so the model reads as one piece.
Wash the clear part first and let it dry freely. Press the mask down with a blunt tool, not with a fingernail. Spray the frames in the interior shade first and only then in the outer camouflage finish, so that no green shows through from inside. Take the mask off while the paint has only set.
